Money Week is an action-packed week designed to get New Zealanders talking about money

The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) is encouraging people to get their KiwiSaver savings ‘fighting fit’ during Money Week.
The question the FMA is asking New Zealanders is: “Have you checked up on your KiwiSaver savings lately”?
We are encouraging people to complete an online health check of their KiwiSaver account by answering five simple questions to make sure they are tuned in to their KiwiSaver investment.
The FMA is also hosting a free event in Christchurch where people can take part in an interactive version of the KiwiSaver Health Check.
It’s important that people check to make sure their KiwiSaver investment is working for them. By completing the Health Check, New Zealanders can start to understand what type of investment fund they are in and make sure their prescribed investor rate (PIR) is correct.
Money Week is 31st August to 6th September and is a nationwide week of events that motivates New Zealanders to look at their financial situation and get their money into the best shape possible.
