- Our Legal Duty to You
We, and all advisers operating under our licence, must:
- Give priority to your interests when providing advice;
- Exercise care, diligence, and skill in all aspects of our advice and service;
- Meet the standards of competence, knowledge, and skill set out in the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services; and
- Comply with the ethical behaviour, conduct, and client-care standards required by that Code.

- Fees and Conflicts of Interest
In most cases, you will not be charged a fee for financial advice. Super-Advice is usually paid a commission by the product provider (for example, an insurer or KiwiSaver provider) when you take out or retain a product following our advice.
If a service fee applies, you will always be told in advance and asked to confirm your agreement before we begin any work.
We take managing conflicts of interest seriously. Our advisers follow a formal Conflicts of Interest Policy and compliance framework designed to ensure advice is always provided in your best interests.
- Complaints and Disputes
If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly.
We’ll acknowledge your complaint within two business days and aim to resolve it as soon as possible.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint, or you are not satisfied with the way we propose to do so, you can contact the Insurance & Financial Services Ombudsman (IFSO):
