At Super-Advice we are about all things financial, but more importantly, helping people understand so they can get ahead financially.
In today’s blog post we share with you a basic rundown of trauma insurance.
Trauma Insurance
Did you realise you could purchase insurance that will pay you a big chunk of cash if you got cancer? Did you realise that same insurance pays you a big lump of cash if you have a heart attack or if you get major burns on your body, or if you have a stroke? And a whole list of around 50 other things.
Trauma Insurance can also be called…
It’s commonly called trauma insurance, but it does have some other names like critical care or critical illness or sometimes severe illness insurance, but let’s just call it trauma insurance today.
And it’s often a good insurance to have because that’s what insurance is about. You never know what’s gonna happen in the future.
Is Trauma Insurance Expensive?
It’s not that expensive either. A recent example is a quote for a male non-smoker, 49 years old, with $20,000 of trauma insurance, and it costs around $30 a month.
Just that small little bit of security knowing that if something serious happens to your health, you may not go to work and you will be given some money on diagnosis of that particular condition, and you will not have to worry about the money side of things so you can focus on the getting well thing.
How does Trauma Insurance Pay?
I think it’s important that we share the different types of insurances that are out there.
Think of it this way. It pays if you get cancer, and it pays if you have a heart attack, it gives you a chunk of money so that you don’t have to worry about money stuff, and you can concentrate on getting well.
That’s a wrap
