Simple ideas to help you gain financial freedom

At Super-Advice we are about all things financial, but more importantly, helping people understand so they can get ahead financially.

In today’s blog post, we share with you some simple ideas to help you gain financial freedom.

What is financial freedom?

Financial freedom is really just having enough money not to be concerned about how you’re gonna meet your financial obligations. It lifts a massive weight off your shoulders once you achieve financial freedom..

Make small changes

Being financially fit is easier if making small changes and being consistent with them and sticking to them.

When I mean small consistent changes, essentially I’m saying find ways not to spend money.

It might be ‘I will have a money-free day on Fridays’ or ‘I will only buy lunch once a week’ or ‘I will only buy coffee three times a week’.

So just think of small changes that you can not only make, but maintain, and that’s the trick.

Set healthy goals

If you can eat healthier, and exercise a little bit more, it means that you will smile more, it means that you will laugh more and you’ll be happy. And when it comes time to make those small changes in your life, it’s easier if you’re in a good mood!

It’s as simple as that, so healthy changes may be: I’m not gonna eat any sugar during the week, or maybe it’s gonna be saying no to fizzy drinks – and I’m gonna carry a water bottle. Have a think about it. But if you are fitter and healthier, you’re happier and changes are easier to make.

Smoke and drink less

If you like to party, smoke, and drink less, that’ll make an absolute change.

I mean, that can fit in with the health goals that you make to get your financial goals happening, to get ahead, and to get that financial freedom.

Sleep well

Our sleep is super important!

If you can get a night of good sleep, again, you’ll be happier, you’ll be smiling and changes will be easier to make.

Manage stress

Everything that we are teaching here and doing is to manage stress levels. If you have money under control, if you feel like you’ve got lots of energy and you’re laughing and smiling a lot, you’re managing your stress levels!! Consistency is key.

Key takeaways

Takeaways from this are to make small changes.

Cut down your discretionary spending.

Have a look at what you’re frittering your money away on, and make those small changes to STOP IT.

Make some changes to the way you eat. See if it changes your mood.

Try and bolt an extra hour of sleep every night if you feel tired all the time.

That’s a wrap

Make these little changes in your life. Now’s the perfect time to do it. We think you’ll see some awesome changes, and then you’ll get that freedom.
